VP Programs & Events: Researches and plans 1 - 2 assemblies per year. Plans Veterans Day assembly. Helps coordinate various family events throughout the year including those associated with Book Fair and Earth Day. Plans an event for grades k-2 and 3-5. Attends board meetings and oversees the following committees: Teacher Appreciation, Reflections, Spanish Program, Watch DOGS, Motor Lab.
 
Webmaster: Ensure website content is current, updates information based on reports from VP's. Maintain PTA website including calendar, upcoming programs and fundraisers. Work with Volunteer Coordinator on volunteer schedules, work with committee chairs to post pertinent information on programs, work with Spirit Wear coordinator on Stallion Store. Website, photo editing, and communications skills are good skills to have for this position. 
 
 Yearbook Committee:  Committee of at least 3 volunteers.  Project runs from Sept to March, then final 2 weeks of school and last day of school.
  1. Administrative Committee of 2 to 4 volunteers meet with Balfour on cover, design, layout, costs and distribution. Follow timeline set by Balfour on deadlines for setup and completion of book. Approval from Principal on theme and cover. Communicate with Balfour, SRE teachers, staff, parents and PTA through email and in person regarding items such as 5th grade Pridelines, loading photos, missed photos, promotion, App, sales, etc. Create reports for Prideline sales and final yearbook sales. Project runs from Sept to March with set deadlines. Final 2 weeks of school, books received must be matched to reports, organized and distributed to teachers. Cash/check book sales last day of school. Yearbook staff must adhere to SRE safety when taking photos, see SRE office staff for guidelines. 
  2. Photographer take photos at SRE events, clubs and activities. Take photos of students/staff missed by Photo Texas or New students to complete class pages. Take Kindergarten "Hello" and 5th grade "Good Bye" photos. 
  3. Layout and Design Committee loads photos in Balfour Design Studio from Parents, staff and Yearbook Photographer and through Balfour App. Set up folders in program for all classes, grades, events, activities, clubs. Go through all photos loaded for appropriate content, size and quality. Load into folders for distribution in book. Load photos on proper pages adjusting as needed. Communicate with Balfour rep on any changes or adjustments to number of pages and changes on full pages.
Community Outreach Committee:  Attends Executive Board Meetings and oversees the following committees: Holiday Toy Drive, Coats for Kids, Clothes Closet, and LEEF Ambassador
 
Healthy Lifestyles Committee:  Assist with dissemination of Healthy Lifestyles information. Help empower families to follow and practice behaviors that are aligned with healthy lifestyles.  Attend board meetings and oversee the following committees: Recycling, Stallion Stampede, Earth Day, Outdoor Classroom/Garden, Planting a Promise/Wildflower Stomp.
 
Reflections Committee: Organize / plan National PTA Reflections Art program at SRE. Promote the theme. Distribute program rules, guidelines and entry forms. Collect entries. Host the judging event and advance your entries to the next level of judging. Recognize the students who participated and promote any future plans for the program.
